NEW ROCHELLE - Two Monroe College students have been suspended from school following an alleged drug-related, drive-by shooting in New Rochelle.

Police say 21-year-old Rudolph Henriquez and Khalil Burns opened fire from a car, almost shattering the glass of a dentist office on Lincoln Avenue.

The suspects are facing felony charges for the shooting that took place on April 4. Investigators say the men fired the shots and sped off.

Both Henriquez and Burns are star football players at Monroe College. Officials say they have been suspended until they resolve their legal problems.
