Giulietti has said he plans on making safety a top priority.

The new president of Metro-North met with commuters tonight at the White Plains Train Station.

Joseph Giulietti said he has been riding the rails and listening to commuter concerns, and that changes are on the way.

The meeting comes after a Federal Railroad Administration report that claims the rail line has been more concerned with being on time than safety.
