NEW YORK - A man died after he was struck by a Metro-North train in Manhattan early Sunday morning.

MTA officials say it happened at around 2 a.m. The man was in the Metro-North tunnel on Park Avenue near 67th Street when he was hit by a northbound train.

According to a Metro-North spokesperson, the man was not supposed to be in the tunnel.

The man has not yet been identified.

The track where the incident happened services all three Metro-North lines, officials say.
