CARMEL - Today was the first full day of jury deliberations in the child rape trial of Alexandru Hossu, the former personal trainer of Putnam County District Attorney Adam Levy.

Lawyers from both sides say this case can likely come down to whether the jury believes the teen accuser.

The 16-year-old told the jury that Hossu came into her bedroom and violently raped her back in 2010, when he was dating her mom. Hossu has denied that the rape ever happened, and his lawyers told the jury in their closing arguments that they believe the teen made up the story to get back at Hossu for leaving her mother.

The jurors requested information this morning that related to the accuser's testimony.
