A utility pole in Mamaroneck was snapped in half overnight by an out-of-control driver.

Police say they arrested a driver after he slammed into the pole on Harmon Drive around 2:30 a.m. today. They say his black Jeep jumped the curb, sliced through the pole, and went a few more feet until colliding into a parked car.
