YONKERS - The Hudson Valley is finally catching a break and will avoid a snowstorm that could have brought three more inches of accumulation to the region.

News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says an approaching cold front is pushing the development of a snowstorm off to sea. He expects to see only flurry activity tomorrow with little to no accumulation.

Van Eck says the downside is that temperatures won't break the freezing mark until possibly this weekend.

A new system is expected for the weekend, but it too early to predict whether it will bring snow, sleet or rain.
