HUDSON VALLEY - It is National Hamburger Day, and many Hudson Valley burger lovers feasted on the fast food to celebrate.

Americans consume an estimated 50 billion hamburgers a year. McDonald’s alone reportedly sells 75 Big Macs every second.

The owners of Jake's Wayback Burger in Hartsdale are celebrating with the "Triple Triple," a nine-layer burger with nine patties and nine pieces of cheese crammed into a single bun.

The burger weighs in at slightly less than 2 pounds of meat. ?
