MOUNT VERNON - The heat may be back soon for people living at a Mount Vernon apartment complex.

Tenants at 630 E. Lincoln Avenue in Mount Vernon say they have been living without heat for about three weeks since a boiler shut down.

One tenant, Cheryl Bolden, says she has been living out of her car for about two weeks after pipes burst in her apartment.

The apartment complex's management company was in Mount Vernon City Court Thursday.

Although a management company representative wouldn't talk about the heating problems, his attorney said the heating issues should be resolved by the end of the night.

The company has been ordered back in court tomorrow and must tell the judge that there is both electricity and heat in the building.
