Greyston Foundation needs help to win a car

YONKERS - A local organization in Yonkers is asking for the public's help to win a much-needed vehicle.

The Greyston Foundation, which helps provide jobs, low-income housing and child care services, needs a new ride.

The foundation is a finalist in a contest to win a new car from Toyota.

The group is trying to get online votes today as part of Toyota's "100 Cars for Good Campaign." Greyston's President and CEO Steven Brown says a car would really help and comes at a good time. "We actually had a vehicle for our Community Garden Program and it broke down," Brown says. "So, we actually need a car. And we're a great organization in terms of serving the community. "
