YONKERS - A new ad campaign, geared toward Generation Y, hopes to showcase the benefits of living and working in Yonkers.  

The campaign, called "Generation Yonkers," hopes to attract even more business to the city by having others see and hear success stories. Full-page ads in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal will feature Yonkers-based business leaders and others.

"We are talking about the great things that are happening in this city each and every day because that's what people do," said Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

Westchester-based Thompson and Bender developed the $350,000 ad campaign. The cost was already in the city's budget from last year.
