Tyrone Arthur, 38, was shot in the chest and killed Friday night in Yonkers.

YONKERS - Family and friends bid a final farewell this morning to a man who was shot and killed on the streets of Yonkers.

Funeral services for Tyrone Arthur took place this morning at the Community Baptist Church in Yonkers.

Arthur was gunned down last month on the corner of Highland Avenue and Jackson Street. The 38 year-old was a teacher's aide at the Westchester School for Special Needs.

Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
