BEDFORD HILLS - A raging fire has destroyed a house on the property of the GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills.

Fire officials say flames broke out in a staff house at the northern Westchester golf club just after 12:30 a.m. today. Three staff members living in the building all got out safely.

Bedford Hills firefighters, with help from several other northern Westchester fire departments, battled the fire for hours. There are no hydrants in the area, so water had to be shuttled in by fire department tanker trucks from several departments.

Investigators say the fire does not appear suspicious. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
