A blaze on Wallace Road in Campbell Hall destroyed the home of the DeLucia family and killed their cat.

CAMPBELL HALL - A three-alarm blaze overnight has left an Orange County family homeless.

Jim DeLucia says he and wife weren't home but his two daughters, who are in their 20s, were in their bedrooms at 103 Wallace Road in Campbell Hall when they saw flames shooting out of the window Sunday around 10 p.m. He says they managed to grab their two dogs and get into their car, drive away and call for help.

Unfortunately, the house has been labeled a total loss and the family's cat died in the blaze. "You know stuff can be replaced. The cat was the biggest tragedy," says DeLucia.

Officials are still looking into what caused the fire, but say it does not appear suspicious and started somewhere around the front porch.
