IRVINGTON - A home undergoing renovations in Irvington will require even more work after being severely damaged by a fire Friday night.

The fire broke out at a house at 275 Harriman Road at around 11:30 p.m.

Investigators say a neighbor called 911 to report the fire after seeing flames erupting from the home's front door.

The homeowners were not present at the time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
