Feather in Wendy's chicken nugget prompts apology, $125 gift card

CHESTER - Fast food restaurant chain Wendy's is apologizing after one of their customers found a feather in his chicken nugget a few weeks ago!

Patrick Kidd, 11, and his family stopped in for a snack at the Wendy's on Brookside Avenue in Chester. But the youngster says instead of tasty chicken, he found a feather sticking out of the nugget.

Along with a letter of apology, Wendy's gave the family a $125 gift card to use toward future meals.

At the time of the incident, the boy and his father said they don't plan to bring legal action against the restaurant

A Wendy's spokesperson said that the quality and integrity of their food is of the utmost importance to the company.
