FAIRVIEW - Fairview Fire Chief Anthony Loguidice is accused of making anti-Semitic remarks about Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
A retired Fairview firefighter claims his former boss used extremely hateful language to describe Feiner. Darryl Leak said he had been too fearful of retribution to come forward about the remarks, but his retirement last year gave him the courage to break his silence.
News 12 asked Feiner why he thought the chief would make the alleged comments. The town supervisor said that he has been pushing for Fairview to consolidate with other fire departments, and he has also been a loud critic of the department's high salaries He says both issues irritated Loguidice, but says that it's no excuse to resort to words of hate.
