YONKERS - The Easter Bunny got an early start on some holiday fun at Stew Leonard's in Yonkers.

Hundreds of kids went hunting for eggs yesterday at the 4th annual Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza.

The children were given a map of the store to help them navigate around, filling their bags with eggs containing prizes of candy, books and toys.

The event took the franchise two months to plan, but its store manager says it's all worth it. "It makes you feel great. We are a family oriented business, we love kids, we love the families when they come to shop here and as you can see they are having fun, that's what we care about," says Christian Cruz.

The Easter egg hunt was free to the community. One lucky winner won a family pack of passes to Rye Playland.
