Hundreds of tons of salt arrived in White Plains on Saturday, just in time for the next snow storm.

On the heels of a winter weather advisory promising still more snow, the DPW says they told distributors to drop salt off "day or night."

More than 100 DPW workers will use an estimated total 2,000 tons of salt for the anticipated snowstorm.
