YONKERS - As the snowstorm approaches the Hudson Valley, disabled and elderly residents are preparing for the storm.

Nurse Roberta Roberts, who visits patients all over the region, says that the bad weather is complicating her constant commute.

Roberts tells her patients to prepare by stocking up on easy-to-make food in case a caretaker can't make it to the home.

A winter storm warning has been issued for the Hudson Valley though 10 a.m. Friday. Meteorologists predict between 5 to 8 inches of snow south of I-287 and 8 to 14 inches north of I-287.
