SOUTH NYACK - A new sound monitoring device will be tracking the noise level from construction of the new Tappan Zee Bridge and anyone can check those levels for themselves.

The device is on private property on Terrace Drive in South Nyack.

It will record the sound levels as crews build the new span and that information will be available at the state's "The New NY Bridge" website.

This week, pile driving work for the new bridge continues between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
