PURCHASE - Gov. Andrew Cuomo was at Manhattanville College in Purchase today to announce a new commission that will focus on the issue of high taxes in New York.

Cuomo was joined by former state Controller Carl McCall and former Gov. George Pataki, who are now part of a tax reform commission that will aim to restore fiscal integrity.

Cuomo reflected on his accomplishments, including passing three on-time budgets. He says the state is saving money by implementing the 2-percent spending and 2-percent property tax cap.
