EDGEMONT - The Cleveland kidnapping rescue has brought some hope to a family in the Hudson Valley.

Student Lauren Spierer, of Edgemont, disappeared from Indiana about two years ago on June 3, 2011.

Her family released a statement on Tuesday saying, "We are thrilled for Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and their families. We admire their strength and courage. Truly miraculous."

Spierer’s family continues the search for their daughter near the Indiana campus in Bloomington where she was last seen.
