WHITE PLAINS - The new CEO of the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester has begun a fitness journey to lose weight, with the help of people in her community.

Cindy Rubino is hoping to lose 15 pounds over 12 weeks. Students from the College of Westchester Medical Technology in White Plains will be helping her monitor her health and a dietitian from Shoprite Supermarkets will also be assisting her.

Rubino says she hopes to inspire others with her fitness challenge and hopes others will join her.
