CHAPPAQUA - A massive quantity of heroin and other drugs has been seized in a raid on a Chappaqua home, according to police.

Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno tells News 12 authorities raided the apartment of Christopher Johnson, located in the basement of a home at 112 Castle Road on Wednesday. The search came after Johnson was arrested for allegedly selling heroin in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday.

Alagno says they found 670 packets of heroin, oxycodone, marijuana, mushrooms and steroids during the raid. They also found more than 200 hypodermic needles.

The chief says Johnson has an extensive criminal history and is being held on $25,000 bail.

Johnson's arrest comes on the heels of four heroin overdoses in Northern Westchester and Putnam counties in the last two weeks.
