STONY POINT - Some local grocery store employees are turning into 'cereal celebrities.'

Three employees at the ShopRite in Stony Point now have their faces on a Cheerios box. They're the winners of "ShopRite Partners in Caring" Annual Cheerios Contest.

Laura Day, Kenneth Lindland and Peter Cavo collected the most money to help feed the hungry. "I know there's a lot of people out there struggling with their jobs and with money so knowing that we raise money to help other families. It feels good that if, one day, somebody I know is in need and they have somewhere they can go to find food, and we raised a good amount of money for it," says Day.

Each employee got one of the boxes encased in plastic as a keepsake.
