Car flips over on Saw Mill River Parkway

DOBBS FERRY - A section of the Saw Mill Parkway is back open after a car flipped over in Dobbs Ferry.

Officials say the car was heading northbound when the driver lost control and went off the road near the Cyrus Field exit around 1:45 a.m. today. The car went over the guardrail and landed on its roof, about 10 feet down an embankment.

The driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for a short time as crews pulled the car out, but is back open this morning.
