CORTLANDT MANOR - A car fire at a gas station in Cortlandt Manor lead to the drugged-driving arrest of a Putnam Valley man.

State police say they got to the Mobil Gas Station on East Main and Locust Avenue in Cortlandt Manor around 8 p.m. and found an SUV on fire. They say the fire ignited after the SUV's accelerator got stuck.

Investigators say they arrested the vehicle's owner Ceferino Garcia, of Putnam Valley. He's charged with driving while ability impaired on drugs as well as possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a license plate.

Officials say the gas station was never shut down. There were no injuries to report.
