YONKERS - Caesars Entertainment is trying to bring a $750 million Vegas-style casino to the Hudson Valley.

Officials say if developed by a casino, the 130 acres of land in Woodbury could bring in $10 million a year just by being there. Penn National Gaming and Cordish companies are also expressing interest in the land.

Today is the deadline to pay the application fee for groups trying to open one of four planned upstate casinos.

Woodbury Village and the town board has not yet voted on whether or not to support plans for a casino.

A public hearing is expected to be held next month.
