LARCHMONT - Hundreds of children and adults flocked to the Larchmont Public Library today to take a sneak peek at a massive Lego city.

A Lego club called "I Lug New York" assembled the creation for "Brickfest," a library fundraiser held by the Friends of the Larchmont Public Library.

The city took more than 2,000 hours of work and about 700,000 blocks to build.

The creation is on display this weekend and next weekend.

Organizers say the funds raised will go toward the library's programs for children.
