Authorities believe the man may have suffered a fatal heart attack.

The body of man was found outside a restaurant in Monsey last night.

Police in the town of Ramapo say they were called to the Kosher Castle on Route 59 around 10:30 p.m. and found the body of Jon Bredal, 69, of Oregon.

Investigators learned Bredal had come to Monsey on a bus from Brooklyn. He had just gotten off at the bus stop near the restaurant when he collapsed and died of an apparent medical condition.

Police think the man died of a heart attack, but are awaiting autopsy results from the Rockland Medical Examiner's Office.
