Bird watchers flock to 'Eaglefest' in Teatown

TEATOWN - Bird watchers flocked to the Hudson River in Teatown over the weekend to take part in the 10th Annual Hudson River Eagle Fest.

Organizers say more than 30 environmental organizations turned out to support the majestic birds.

Every winter, people gather near the Hudson to get a glimpse at the eagles’ return for winter.

Officials estimate about 150 bald eagles visit the Hudson Valley waterways each year.
