As required by law, the school for kids with emotional and behavioral problems notified the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs. The Justice Center launched an investigation, which notified Yonkers police who arrested the two yesterday.
School officials released a statement saying they have terminated the employees.
The two former staffers were arraigned in Yonkers City Court and released without bail. A court order has been issued preventing both men from contacting the alleged victim.
They are both scheduled to be back in court on May 7.
