Angel Lopez, of the Bronx, accused of stealing tires, rims from West Nyack car dealer

Police say 53 sets of tires and rims

Police say 53 sets of tires and rims worth $63,000 were taken from Tarrytown Honda.

WEST NYACK - Clarkstown police have arrested a man who allegedly stole dozens of tires and rims from a car dealer's lot in West Nyack last May.

Angel Lopez, of the Bronx, was nabbed by police on April 1. Police say 53 sets of tires and rims worth $63,000 were taken from Tarrytown Honda.

Investigators caught up with the 35-year-old this week, but they say the amount stolen in one shot leads them to think Lopez had help.

The most serious charges Lopez faces are grand larceny and possession of stolen property.
