NEW ROCHELLE - A bomb threat forced the evacuation of two New Rochelle middle schools Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency procedures were put into effect at Albert Leonard and Isaac Young middle schools just after 12:30 p.m.

State police received a call about a bomb in a New Rochelle middle school earlier on Wednesday, but no school was specified.

Both schools were evacuated for about an hour.

No injuries were reported.
