No arrests have been made in the shooting of the unidentified 40-year-old man.

NEW ROCHELLE - A New Rochelle man is recovering in the hospital this morning after being shot in the stomach at a busy park.

Police say the shots rang out around 5 p.m. yesterday at D'Onorfio Park in New Rochelle. The unidentified victim was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Hundreds of people were gathered at the park, located on Emmett Terrace, for the First Annual West New Rochelle BBQ.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
