Naveen Dhaliwal Naveen Dhaliwal Anchor/Reporter Email

Naveen Dhaliwal joined the News 12 Westchester team as a morning show anchor and reporter in July 2014 and is thrilled to be back in the Hudson Valley!

Naveen came to News 12 after three years at KOCO in Oklahoma City where she was a reporter/fill-in anchor and a storm chaser! She worked three weeks straight on the devastating Moore and El Reno tornadoes of May 2013 spending long hours digging deep into the community and telling stories of people at such a trying time. She also traveled to Dallas, TX to cover the tornado outbreak in April of 2012.

Prior to Oklahoma City she freelanced as an anchor and reporter for News 12 Westchester. One of her most memorable days on the job came during the Blizzard of 2010, delivering live reports in bitter cold conditions.

Naveen was also an anchor for WETM-TV in Elmira, New York where she covered many local stories that made national news, including the tragic shooting massacre at the American Civic Association in Binghamton, N.Y.

In addition to her career as a journalist, Naveen is a licensed a Speech Language Pathologist. Her passion for reporting led her back to school, where she graduated with a Journalism degree from Rutgers University.

Naveen was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. She is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
