Looking for entertainment and education? Take a road trip to Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank

If you're looking for a place that offers entertainment and education, this is it. On this Road Trip: Close to Home, Macy Egeland visited the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank.
The 272-acre property is home to over 100 farm animals, and offers educational activities in the outdoor classroom.
Their mission is to provide hands-on, research-based learning. In their backyard farm, you can learn from the master gardeners themselves.
The working haybarn is from 1871, and home to many of their community events.
Take a wagon ride around the grounds, feed plenty of farm animals, and meet their brand new little piglets.
The farm is open seven days a week, all year long, and admission is free.
