Family, community gather for wake of 14-year-old Oceanside boy killed riding bicycle

Community and family members came together at Towers Funeral Home Tuesday night for the wake services for a 14-year-old Oceanside boy killed after his bicycle was struck by a car.
Dylan Schuster was killed Sunday evening after being struck on Daly Boulevard. Police say the driver remained at the scene and was not charged.
Gayle Lesser, Schuster's cousin, says he was a sweet, talented and outgoing boy who loved taekwondo, fast food and dreamed of being a car salesman.
Schuster was a freshman at Oceanside High School. His classmates created a makeshift memorial of flowers in his honor at the accident scene.
Schuster's mother started a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs of his funeral, which has raised over $24,000 from 537 donors.
Schuster's family asked mourners to wear blue to his service, saying blue was his favorite color.
