RYE - The Rye City Council released the results of an investigation today that allegedly shows that former Rye Golf Club manager Scott Yandrasevich stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from the city-owned facility.

The probe alleges that Yandrasevich used two staffing companies to handle events at the club. Through one of the companies, RM Staffing, which employed his wife, the couple may have inflated statements and pocketed the difference. They apparently used the money to buy two boats and a home in North Carolina.

Yandrasevich, who lived at the club, was placed on administrative leave in October and resigned in January.

The results of the investigation will be turned over to the Westchester County District Attorney’s office for possible prosecution. The city says it is looking for restitution.
