    Beginning next week, the News 12 Scholar Athlete award, sponsored by the Pepe Auto Group, will be given out to high school seniors who are leaders on and off the field. Candidates must be nominated by their coaches or athletic directors.

    The Hackley School senior captain had 101 tackles and five sacks while being named team MVP. He made First Team All-League his junior and senior year while maintaining a 3.9 GPA.
