The Yonkers Charter School of Educational Excellence has introduced a new program aimed at enhancing student job opportunities within the automotive industry.
Partnering with the Ford Automotive Career Exploration program, students enrolled in ACE will gain access to Ford service technician specialty training e-learning courses, mirroring the same training received by Ford and Lincoln technicians.
Principal Dwain Palmer expressed the school's dedication to providing innovative educational opportunities, stating, "This Automotive technology lab is a testament to our commitment to providing innovative and comprehensive educational opportunities for all our students."
The high school's Automotive Technology Lab boasts a fully functional auto service garage equipped with two hydraulic lifts, an alignment lift and a separate classroom area dedicated to automotive education.
